The Association
Health and Leisure Portugal, the Association for the Promotion of Health Tourism (H&L), set up in 2013, is a non-profit association whose mission is to publicize and promote national health care internationally in conjunction with the tourism sector in Portugal.
Values
The Association’s values are based on considering the person as the reason and end of all human action. This being the case, it is essential to provide personalized support to all patients who come to Portugal, both for tourism and health care, assuming that health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not just the absence of illness or disease.
