Strategy
H&L’s actions are geared towards certain strategic objectives:
- To actively promote Portugal as a destination for health and wellness tourism, with particular emphasis on the countries of the CPLP - Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries
- To develop strategic partnerships with potential partners that can benefit health and wellness tourism
- Develop and promote tourism experiences that integrate Portugal's natural, cultural and therapeutic resources
- Establish and disseminate quality standards for services and establishments related to health and wellness tourism in Portugal
- Support innovation in the area of health and wellness tourism, seeking out new approaches, therapies and technologies that can improve healthcare and enrich Portugal's tourism offer in these areas
